CAD & Simulation Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified CAD & Simulation Engineer to support short‑term, remote projects in aerospace, mechanical and electrical domains. The role lasts 8 weeks and offers flexible weekly hours (20‑40 h) at a rate of $19 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed CAD models and perform simulations for aerospace, mechanical or electrical systems.
• Translate technical specifications into accurate simulation setups and engineering workflows.
• Analyze simulation results, identify design improvements and optimise solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to validate designs and document findings.
• Support AI‑driven engineering initiatives by reviewing and evaluating model fidelity.

Required profile

• PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in CAD engineering, simulation and product design.
• Strong fundamentals in aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently and in remote, cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with leading aerospace or manufacturing organisations is a plus.
