Call Center Representative – Healthcare Customer Service (English)

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for an experienced English‑speaking Call Center Representative to join its healthcare team in Bogota. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling inquiries, scheduling, and triage while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls related to patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and medical claims.
• Conduct standard triage to determine appropriate care pathways.
• Enter patient intake data accurately into the system and maintain wrap‑up time under 60 seconds.
• Protect sensitive patient information in line with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, providers, and administrative staff to coordinate patient care.
• Deliver professional, courteous customer service at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a healthcare call‑center or similar environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, triage procedures, and patient intake processes.
• Strong computer and data‑entry abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining service quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of patient privacy and compliance standards.
