Client Financial Coordinator – Bilingual English/French

About the role

Marsh is looking for a bilingual Client Financial Coordinator to join its Client Financial team in Bogota. The role supports the delivery of a consistent client experience across all financial aspects of Marsh engagements, ensuring timely invoicing and healthy financial performance. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively track client placements and manage premium billings to ensure all items are invoiced promptly.
• Prepare and submit invoice requests with appropriate documentation to the centralized invoicing team.
• Address client and colleague inquiries, correcting invoices as needed.
• Support proactive credit control to avoid Notice of Cancellations (NOCs) and bad debt.
• Resolve invoicing issues, payment reconciliation discrepancies, and NOCs, coordinating with client teams, fiduciary accounting, carriers, and internal functions.
• Collaborate with account owners, client teams, and internal functional teams to research and resolve billing discrepancies and unbilled items.
• Provide solutions for open revenue recognition and internal revenue reserve items.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written English and French.
• Bachelor’s or technical degree.
• Minimum one year of professional experience in client invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, or related finance functions, preferably in insurance, financial services, or BPO.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and excellent attention to detail.
• Highly organized self‑starter capable of managing multiple client accounts and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with many stakeholders.
• Superior communication focused on resolution and client service.
• Effective collaboration skills to build relationships with internal teams and clients.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and terminology.
