Cloud & AI Finance Planning Analyst

About the role

Rockwell Automation seeks a Cloud & AI Finance Planning Analyst to drive financial planning, budgeting, analytics, and investment governance for technology and AI projects. The role partners with Finance, IT, and business leaders to provide data‑driven insights and ensure financial accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning with business and IT partners.
• Perform financial analysis, variance reporting, and develop models for strategic decision‑making.
• Monitor departmental spending, recommend cost‑efficiency improvements, and prepare regular financial reports for leadership.
• Create Power BI dashboards and other analytics solutions to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate business cases, investment proposals, and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Develop metrics and governance standards to improve financial accountability and automate reporting where possible.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• 8+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting or business finance.
• Experience supporting technology, software, digital transformation or IT organizations.
