Construction Project Coordinator – Pre-Construction (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support pre‑construction activities for high‑end residential renovations. Working remotely, you will partner with project managers to ensure every project is fully defined, documented and ready before ground‑breaking begins.

Key responsibilities

• Support pre‑construction planning, organizing timelines, budgets, estimates and documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractor outreach, collect bids and compare proposals.
• Review plans and scopes of work for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare detailed hand‑off packages for field and construction teams.
• Track selections, approvals, permits and all pre‑start requirements.
• Communicate with internal teams, architects, designers and vendors to resolve issues early.
• Maintain organized project records within construction‑management systems.
• Identify risks and proactively escalate potential issues.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in construction coordination, estimating or project support.
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Experience with construction software such as JobTread, Buildertrend or CoConstruct.
