Corporate Accountant

About the role

STgenetics® is seeking a Corporate Accountant to consolidate worldwide general ledgers and deliver an accurate, timely view of corporate performance. The role works remotely from Colombia and collaborates with corporate accounting, tax, global operating locations, and business unit controllers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with global accounting closes, prepare and communicate close calendars, and act as a global point of contact for related inquiries.
• Prepare and review accounting entries for corporate transactions, intercompany settlements, eliminations, transfer‑pricing consistency, reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Support financial reporting system activities, including chart‑of‑accounts changes, entity hierarchies, user access, and consolidation mappings.
• Manage data from multiple subsidiaries and accounting systems, liaising with finance planning, treasury, tax, and external auditors.
• Perform variance and financial analysis at the consolidated level and by location or line of business.
• Ensure consistent application of GAAP and maintain expertise in FASB and SEC reporting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
• Proven experience working with multiple EPM and financial reporting systems.
• Hands‑on experience with financial consolidation of international entities and various accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, foreign currency accounting, month‑end close, intercompany eliminations, and SOX controls.
