Corporate Counsel – Contract Services

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Counsel to join the Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC) Legal Services team. The role focuses on end‑to‑end contract preparation and execution for a portfolio of vendor and commercial agreements, ensuring a seamless experience for internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and triage contract requests, confirming compliance with business policies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate routine contracts such as NDAs, software license agreements, service agreements, and consulting agreements.
• Collaborate with business unit clients and subject‑matter experts to finalize agreements in line with approved playbooks.
• Analyze contract terms to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service, meeting GBSC standards for response and resolution times.

Required profile

• Experience in contract law or corporate legal environments, preferably within financial or technology services.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on process improvement.
