Corporate Lawyer

About the role

Zoomlion Colombia seeks a motivated Corporate Lawyer to provide comprehensive legal support across multiple business functions. The role combines contract management, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance while acting as a strategic partner to internal teams and the international legal department.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Provide legal guidance to Sales, Finance, HR, Operations and Administration.
• Support corporate governance activities, including preparation of shareholders' meeting minutes and corporate documentation.
• Coordinate and monitor legal procedures before public authorities and regulatory entities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal policies and corporate approval processes.
• Maintain legal documentation, contract repositories and records, both physical and digital.
• Assist in litigation management, debt recovery and contractual dispute resolution.
• Supervise external law firms to ensure efficient, high‑quality legal services.
• Prepare legal opinions, reports, memorandums and presentations for local management and headquarters.

Required profile

• Law degree with a valid professional license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate legal functions, either in‑house or at a law firm.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with corporate governance, shareholders’ meetings and regulatory procedures.
• Functional English proficiency for reviewing legal documents and communicating with international stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and build strong internal relationships.
