Cost Controller

About the role
The Cost Controller will oversee revenue and operating expenses, ensuring costs are accurately tracked and optimized. Working closely with Finance Management and Shared Services, the role supports the end‑to‑end financial process in a dynamic shipping and logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Control and validate invoices, ensuring timely booking and payment.
- Monitor process deviations and raise business claims with service providers.
- Analyze monthly revenue and OPEX, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Benchmark costs across locations and support cost‑saving programs.
- Perform vendor cost analysis to inform negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with the target operating model and Shared Services performance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, financial planning or cost control.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2).
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (part of the Microsoft Office Suite).
