Customer Service Assistant (Furniture & E-Commerce)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing online furniture retailer seeking a Customer Service Assistant to deliver exceptional support to our shoppers. Working remotely on EST shifts, you will help customers choose the perfect sofa, track orders, and resolve any post‑purchase issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, solution‑oriented assistance via email, live chat, and social media.
• Answer product questions, give sofa recommendations, and update order status.
• Handle returns, delivery tracking, and after‑sales support.
• Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to resolve delivery problems or product damages.
• Maintain accurate interaction records and flag recurring issues.
• Assist with product listing updates to ensure clear, customer‑friendly information.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, e‑commerce support, or a client‑facing role.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Patient, empathetic, and proactive team player.

Required skills

• Experience with customer support platforms such as Shopify, Zendesk, Gorgias, Intercom, or HubSpot.
