Customer Service Representative - Healthcare Support

About the role

A Customer Service Representative is needed to provide support to healthcare members and providers. The position is 100% on-site in Barranquilla, Colombia, under an indefinite-term contract, with a salary of COP $3,200,000. The schedule is Monday to Friday, within the 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. window (42 hours per week). The role will initially focus exclusively on phone calls.

Key responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound customer calls.
• Research and resolve customer inquiries, access issues, billing questions and claims-related concerns.
• Conduct follow-up calls with healthcare members and providers.
• Document interactions accurately in company systems.
• Support provider relations, account management and operational activities.

Required profile

• Experience in healthcare or insurance processes (mandatory).
• At least 1.5 years of experience handling phone calls and email tickets.
• Advanced English (C1) is mandatory; B2/C1 is listed as required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site.
• Full availability for the required schedule; students are not considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer systems and standard office software.
• Healthcare or insurance experience is a plus, though not required.
