Cyber Security Analyst - Americas

About the role

Intuition Machines builds enterprise security products with AI/ML, including the hCaptcha security suite, with a team distributed worldwide. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will use expertise in bot detection, web traffic analysis and deep behavioral analytics to investigate anomalous activity on the hCaptcha SaaS platform. The position is fully remote with flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, identify and analyze events from many sources to spot threats and respond with urgency
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams and work with Product, Customer Success and other internal teams
• Help collect metrics to measure the efficiency of Security Operations
• Audit the effectiveness of security measures against compliance norms and help implement security policies and procedures
• Refine processes and update standard operating procedures
• Take part in incident investigations and threat hunting engagements

Required profile

• Hands-on SQL proficiency is a must-have
• Web and API security, WAFs, botnets and attack mitigation exposure
• Knowledge of managing and securing production web environments with tools like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with threat hunting, web hacking, web data analysis or WAF hands-on experience
• Deep understanding of the web technology and web application security field, and of the attacker mindset
• Scripting and programming experience (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
• Nice to have: red-teaming, botnet development, API test automation, Jenkins, Docker, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC2, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls and OWASP
