Data Analyst

About the role

Softgic is looking for a Data Analyst with strong analytical skills who can turn data into actionable business insights. The role works with cross-functional teams to analyse large datasets, build dashboards, automate reporting and support data-driven decisions. It is a full-time, 100% on-site position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, based in Colombia, Peru or Guatemala, open to junior to mid-level candidates (1-2+ years) with English at B2+.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate and analyse data from multiple business sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and KPIs for operational and executive teams.
• Automate data extraction, transformation and reporting with Python and SQL.
• Create visualisations with Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar BI tools.
• Identify trends, patterns and opportunities to improve business performance.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
• Design and maintain data models for reporting and analytics, and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Support operational, workforce and financial analytics initiatives, and document analytical processes and reporting standards.

Required profile

• 1-2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with large datasets, business intelligence solutions, dashboard and executive report building.
• Advanced Python for data analysis and automation, advanced SQL, and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of ETL, data transformation, data modelling, relational databases and data warehousing.
• Understanding of the data analytics lifecycle, data governance, BI best practices and Agile environments.
• English at B2 or higher; cloud platforms, AI-driven analytics and predictive modelling are a plus.
