Data Center Architect

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Data Center Architect to join its Bogotá office. You will contribute to the design and delivery of data‑center and infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic architectural and engineering calculations for data‑center projects.
• Prepare specifications, reports, data tables, and detailed construction documentation.
• Maintain liaison with design and drafting teams, reviewing and approving drawings as needed.
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities across disciplines under the guidance of the Supervising Architect.
• Assist in training and evaluating junior architectural and drafting personnel.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural design, drafting, and construction documentation.
• English proficiency at B2‑C1 level.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and BIM tools.
• Ability to conduct technical quality reviews and ensure deliverables meet standards.
