Data Engineer – AI & Agentic Technologies

About the role

Join QuantumBlack’s AI team to build the data foundations for cutting‑edge AI applications, including large language models and emerging agentic architectures. You will work in cross‑functional Agile teams, collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers and industry experts.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and secure data environments for AI‑driven systems.
• Assess data landscapes, apply data‑quality fundamentals and prepare data for machine‑learning, agentic and autonomous AI solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate business hypotheses into engineered features and production‑ready AI components.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a data‑focused role (including internships or academic projects).
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Python and SQL programming.
• Experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and tools like Pandas, Spark, dbt, LangChain.
• Version control (Git) and knowledge of DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD principles.
• Exposure to coding agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) is a plus.
