Data Engineer (Azure) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer specialized in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions. The role supports data‑driven decision making by ensuring seamless data flow from source systems to analytical platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and optimise data architectures with Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
• Write high‑performance SQL and Python scripts for data processing and analytics.
• Integrate data solutions with Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
• Manage data modelling and warehousing strategies to ensure performance and integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and scale the enterprise data infrastructure.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Proven expertise building pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI integration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and data governance best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
