Data Engineer – Credit & Lending Platform

About the role

Cascade is looking for a Credit & Lending Data Engineer to join a fast‑growing fintech team. You will help build a high‑impact, global platform that modernises how companies raise and manage debt.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain databases, data lakes and ingestion pipelines for customer and financial datasets.
• Ingest external financial data, keep data mappings accurate and ensure high‑quality data for downstream products.
• Implement monitoring and alerting to guarantee reliable data flows.
• Translate business goals and stakeholder requirements into scalable data pipelines that deliver analytical insights.

Required profile

• 3+ years of data‑engineering experience, preferably with credit or lending data.
• Hands‑on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Bigtable).
• Proficiency with ETL tools such as Databricks, Fivetran or dbt.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with analytical warehouses (RedShift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Experience with CI/CD automation (e.g., GitHub Actions) and API development.
