Demand Planner – South Region

About the role

The Demand Planner for the South Region will own the end‑to‑end demand forecasting process, combining statistical models with market insights to provide accurate supply‑chain signals. Working closely with commercial, marketing, finance and regulatory teams, the role ensures that forecasts reflect tender outcomes, product launches and other market events.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate statistical forecasting with local market knowledge, adjusting models only when accuracy improves.
• Lead the monthly demand review, gathering insights from sales and marketing, and obtain consensus sign‑off from the market director.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and finance to analyse tenders and build risk/opportunity scenarios.
• Manage the event tool in IBP for driver‑based planning of tenders and opportunities.
• Participate in yearly budget and quarterly estimate processes, providing demand consensus for budgeting.
• Support clinic teams on planning and inventory management.
• Lead S&OP processes, acting as a bridge between local teams and global supply chain.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as forecast accuracy, bias, inventory levels (DSOH), service level (DIFOT) and variability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning or supply‑chain forecasting.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market events into forecast adjustments.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with commercial, finance, marketing and regulatory stakeholders.
• Ability to lead S&OP meetings and drive consensus across functions.
