Design Lead

About the role

Atoms is seeking a Design Lead to become the strategic anchor for its global operations in Bogotá. You will guide multiple high‑impact projects from concept through delivery, ensuring architectural excellence and seamless integration with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of 2‑6 projects, driving them through every design phase.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for major US‑based industrial and corporate accounts.
• Identify and resolve design and structural challenges early by reviewing sketches and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee design integrity and construction quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 6‑10 years of experience in construction, design, or architecture.
• Proven track record of managing complex project lifecycles and diverse stakeholders.
• Highly autonomous problem‑solver comfortable in a fast‑paced, global environment.
• Familiarity with US design and construction standards is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Power‑user proficiency in Revit.
• Power‑user proficiency in Bluebeam.
