DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with at least five years of hands‑on experience to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments. The role focuses on automation, container orchestration, and continuous delivery for our diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP (and AWS where needed).
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and deployments for performance and reliability.
• Automate operational and deployment tasks with Bash or Python scripting.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimise system performance.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth release management.
• Maintain system security, backup, and disaster‑recovery practices.
• Document architecture and deployment processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud platforms, preferably GCP and AWS.
• Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid Linux administration and shell‑scripting skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Understanding of networking, security groups, load balancers, and DNS.
