DevOps / Platform Engineer (GCP, Terraform, CI/CD)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production reliability for our core platforms. You will work closely with product engineers to accelerate deployments and with IT Ops to balance cost and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform for Cloud Run, Compute Engine and GKE.
• Manage cloud spend by implementing auto‑scaling, resource tagging and scheduled spin‑downs across GCP services.
• Implement security controls: IAM, secrets management, zero‑trust networking (Tailscale) and support SOC 2 compliance.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting and on‑call processes using Elastic/ELK, DataDog, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Support application stacks (PHP/Laravel, Node.js, NestJS) and container orchestration (Docker, K3s, Helm) including a major Laravel upgrade.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering, preferably on GCP.
• Strong background in Terraform and container/orchestration technologies.
• Proven ability to build and operate CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with PHP/Laravel deployment lifecycles.
• Solid observability and on‑call ownership experience.
