Director of Clinical Systems (Remote)

About the role

VIP Medical Group, a leader in vein disease and pain management, is seeking a Director of Clinical Systems to shape its clinical technology strategy. This remote, full‑time position reports to the CTO and focuses on optimizing clinical operations through scalable, secure systems.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CTO to define and execute the clinical systems architecture across EHR, CRM, RCM, and data platforms.
• Lead the technology roadmap for system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives.
• Oversee integrations between EHRs and enterprise platforms, ensuring interoperability via APIs, HL7, and FHIR standards.
• Drive workflow automation for prior authorization, scheduling, documentation, and other clinical processes.
• Maintain data integrity, governance, and compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and related regulations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Clinical Operations, Revenue Cycle, Product, and Data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of Clinical Systems Analysts, EHR Administrators, and Integration Specialists.
• Handle vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and third‑party technology partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading healthcare technology initiatives and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence through automation and data‑driven decision making.
