Director of Technical Training

About the role

Factored is seeking a strategic Director of Technical Training to lead and evolve its learning initiatives for engineering talent. In this fully remote position you will design, deliver and scale high‑impact training programs that support the company’s AI, ML and data engineering services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for the technical training portfolio across all engineering programs.
• Align training priorities with business goals, client expectations and emerging AI/ML trends.
• Partner with Delivery, Engineering, Talent, Operations and Revenue leaders to ensure training supports workforce planning and deployment readiness.
• Design and manage training operations, including capacity planning, instructor allocation, resource management and milestone delivery.
• Identify execution gaps, mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement of training delivery processes.
• Establish measurement frameworks, dashboards and KPIs to evaluate training effectiveness, ROI and trainee performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale technical training or learning programs for engineering teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market trends and capability gaps into actionable learning pathways.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with senior leadership.
• Owner mentality with a track record of driving operational excellence and measurable impact.
