Director, Portfolio Optimization

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Director, Portfolio Optimization to identify growth and performance improvement opportunities across a portfolio of accounts. The role combines strong business acumen with a consultative mindset, leveraging data, insights, and industry knowledge to diagnose opportunities and drive measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve growth, penetration, engagement, and profitability.
• Diagnose business challenges and performance gaps using data, market insights, and client knowledge.
• Develop strategic recommendations and optimization roadmaps tailored to client needs and objectives.
• Partner closely with Account Management and cross‑functional teams to prioritize, implement, and track improvement initiatives.
• Present insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Monitor key performance indicators and measure the impact of optimization strategies.
• Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor on portfolio performance and growth opportunities.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement through data‑driven decision‑making and best‑practice sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• Significant experience in portfolio management, consulting, strategy, account management, business development, financial services, payments, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
