Director, Procurement Global Process Owner

About the role

The Director, Procurement Global Process Owner will shape and drive end‑to‑end process strategy for Johnson & Johnson’s Procurement function. This senior leader will lead transformation initiatives that redesign, simplify and digitise spend management, source‑to‑contract, payments and procurement services, creating significant value for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Define the value case, taxonomy, data and organisational needs for core procurement capabilities.
• Analyse current processes, identify gaps and design future‑state solutions that deliver measurable benefits.
• Partner with Procurement Digital & Analytics and J&J Technology to evaluate and select innovative digital tools.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Indirect Procurement, Legal, HR and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful rollout.
• Provide deep process expertise throughout the lifecycle, from design through implementation and continuous improvement.
• Influence senior leaders across a matrixed organisation to secure commitment and drive transformation outcomes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading large‑scale procurement or supply‑chain transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders in a global, matrix environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capability to translate data into actionable process improvements.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to champion change across diverse teams.
