Driver Manager – Operations (Medellín)

About the role

As a Driver Manager, your key responsibility is to execute the daily processes and activities involved in all aspects of a truckload shipment. You will manage a group of drivers, handle dispatch functions and ensure customer service commitments are met.

Key responsibilities

• Offer guidance to contracted drivers on maximizing earnings while delivering high‑level customer service.
• Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.
• Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate customer needs.
• Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers.
• Communicate with freight brokers providing exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience managing tractor‑trailer drivers.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills (C1 level or higher).
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Efficient multitasking capabilities.
• Professional attitude and team mindset.
• Capability to handle emergencies calmly and make quick, effective decisions.

Required skills

• Prior experience with Samsara (preferred).
• Experience with DAT, Internet Truckstop, and other load boards.
