Driver Recruiter – Talent Acquisition for Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Driver Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating qualified candidates for driver, warehouse, and transportation positions, while building a strong talent pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates for driver and warehouse roles using job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
• Conduct headhunting to engage passive candidates when needed.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
• Post and optimise job ads across multiple recruiting platforms.
• Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews.
• Provide hiring managers with recruitment recommendations and support.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
• Track recruiting metrics and keep accurate records in the ATS/CRM.
• Participate in job fairs, hiring events, and other recruiting initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing.
• Prior experience recruiting truck drivers or logistics personnel is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with CDL and non‑CDL drivers, warehouse associates, dock workers, forklift operators, and dispatchers.
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Required skills

• Experience with recruiting platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
• Ability to use sourcing tools and job board management systems.
