E-commerce Strategist

About the role

ECD Digital Strategy is seeking a proactive, analytical E‑commerce Strategist to join our remote, fast‑growing agency. You will act as the strategic driver behind client growth, website optimisation, and long‑term account success, turning business goals into measurable digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and growth discussions for assigned e‑commerce client accounts.
• Analyse client business goals, website performance, and customer experience to uncover optimisation opportunities.
• Develop actionable, conversion‑focused recommendations aligned with revenue targets and client priorities.
• Prioritise initiatives based on impact, feasibility, timelines and resources, and translate them into clear roadmaps for internal teams.
• Guide clients through decisions related to Shopify sites, UX improvements, customer‑journey enhancements and functional upgrades.
• Maintain deep knowledge of each client’s brand, audience and growth objectives to support long‑term retention.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data into strategic insights.
• Excellent communication skills and experience aligning stakeholders around clear priorities.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote, fast‑paced agency environment.
