Elementary Math Teacher (Bilingual English)

About the role

The Altamira International School is looking for a dedicated elementary Mathematics teacher to deliver its bilingual curriculum. You will design and deliver engaging math lessons for primary students, fostering a love of numbers and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare units or projects aligned with the school's curriculum and pedagogical model.
• Assess and monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and implement strategies to support individual development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to enhance student learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress and improvement strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest educational practices and pedagogical approaches relevant to mathematics.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as an elementary math teacher or in a related teaching role.
• Undergraduate degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Desirable postgraduate degree in Education or related areas.
• Bilingual proficiency in English (advanced level).
