Email Developer

About the role

Brandtech+ is looking for an Email Developer to join its near‑shore production hub in Bogotá. You will create and maintain HTML email templates that power enrollment marketing programs for healthcare education institutions, working within a four‑person email development team.

Key responsibilities

• Build responsive, cross‑client HTML email templates from approved design files, adhering to technical specifications and accessibility standards.
• Develop and maintain a modular template library to enable efficient, brand‑consistent campaign production.
• Conduct thorough pre‑deployment QA, including rendering tests across Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail and mobile devices, link validation, image hosting checks, and dynamic content verification.
• Upload and configure campaigns in the CRM platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent), handling audience selection, content blocks, subject lines and scheduling.
• Collaborate with CRM Campaign Managers to troubleshoot rendering issues and support last‑minute edits under tight deadlines.
• Implement email accessibility best practices such as alt text, semantic markup, color contrast and keyboard navigability.
• Maintain version control and documentation for all templates and integrate AI‑generated content from Pencil where required.

Required profile

• Proficiency in English and ability to work in a hybrid setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering technically precise, deployment‑ready emails.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced studio environment handling high‑volume production.

Required skills

• HTML and CSS for email development.
• Responsive email design and cross‑client rendering testing.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or equivalent CRM) campaign setup.
• Email accessibility standards (alt text, semantic markup, color contrast).
• Version control and documentation practices.
• Familiarity with AI‑generated content integration (e.g., Pencil).
