Engineering Manager – Flight Management

About the role

Amadeus is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one of its Flight Management teams in Bogotá. You will guide a cross‑functional group of software engineers, QA engineers and analysts to deliver mission‑critical solutions that keep airlines safe, efficient and sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture an inclusive, high‑trust team culture that supports career growth and continuous learning.
• Define clear objectives, provide regular feedback and ensure delivery of high‑quality, reliable software.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture and other engineering groups to turn ideas into impactful products.
• Drive the evolution of Flight Management toward cloud‑native, web‑based platforms and the adoption of AI and Generative AI technologies.
• Represent the Flight Management organization within Amadeus and with external customers, helping to establish Bogotá as a centre of excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing software engineering teams, preferably in a mission‑critical environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent English communication skills.
