About the role

Fundacion Colegio Bilingue De Valledupar is seeking a full‑time English Teacher to join its on‑site team in Valledupar, Colombia. You will work in a bilingual environment, delivering high‑quality English instruction to primary and secondary students.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and proficiency levels.
• Assess student progress through tests, projects, and classroom participation.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation.
• Provide individualized support and feedback to help each student succeed.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop and refine the bilingual curriculum.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or relevant licensure in English language instruction (preferred).
• Experience in classroom management and student engagement.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different cultural contexts and learning needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English language instruction.
• Experience creating lesson plans for varied learning styles.
• Strong communication skills for clear instruction and relationship building.
