Exterior Designer – Independent Contractor (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Exterior Designer to create stunning façades for high‑end single‑family homes. The role is fully remote and you will collaborate with architects, builders and engineers across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design building façades, colour palettes, roofing systems and exterior finishes.
• Develop lighting and landscaping concepts that complement the architecture.
• Produce photorealistic renderings, mood boards and design packages.
• Coordinate revisions with architects, engineers and project teams.
• Prepare material specifications, documentation and ensure compliance with HOA and local design guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential exterior design or architecture, preferably on luxury projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high‑end exterior work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple remote projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Lumion or Enscape.
• Proficiency in Rhino.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
