Finance Analyst

About the role

You will turn raw financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership. Working in a fully automated, technology‑driven environment, you’ll spend your time querying data, building reports, and explaining the drivers behind margins, freight costs, and claims.

Key responsibilities

• Build and improve management reports that leadership relies on.
• Write SQL queries to answer finance and operations questions directly from the data.
• Analyse margins, freight costs, trends and explain their drivers.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable with reconciliation and analysis.
• Investigate cargo claims and freight‑bill data to spot patterns and anomalies.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve data quality and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with data.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL.
• Data‑science or analytics background is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools and willingness to expand their use.
• Familiarity with standard finance functions (AR, AP, bookkeeping, reporting).
• Good written and verbal English, detail‑oriented, and strong problem‑solving skills.
