Finance Director – LATAM North Innovative Medicine

About the role

The Finance Director for LATAM North Innovative Medicine will lead the finance function for Johnson & Johnson in Colombia. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance LATAM with a dotted‑line to the LA North Managing Director, the role is part of the cluster leadership committee and serves as the legal representative of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership, direction, and management of the finance function, overseeing income, expenses, capital usage and cash flow.
• Partner with local board members to drive organizational excellence and maximize value creation.
• Support business decisions on portfolio prioritisation, competitiveness and innovation, managing P&L and balance‑sheet performance.
• Lead the preparation of business plans, forecast updates and long‑term planning.
• Maintain transparent communication with the LATAM Leadership Team on operational results and financial condition.
• Shape a culture that leverages emerging technologies, visualization tools and finance systems to generate insights and optimise value.
• Identify opportunities to improve enterprise reporting and planning solutions and drive internal finance process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial leadership and management of a finance function.
• Experience overseeing P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow management.
• Ability to communicate financial results clearly to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated capability to lead and develop a team of finance professionals (approximately 7 reports).
