Finance Director – LATAM North Innovative Medicine

About the role

The Finance Director for LATAM North Innovative Medicine will lead the finance function for Johnson & Johnson in Colombia, reporting to the Vice President of Finance LATAM and working closely with the LA North Managing Director. This senior position is part of the cluster leadership committee and serves as the legal representative of the business in the country.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with local board members to drive organizational excellence and maximize value creation.
• Support business decisions on portfolio prioritization, competitiveness, and innovation, influencing P&L and balance‑sheet performance.
• Enhance current financial practices and develop new strategies to strengthen operating performance.
• Maintain transparent communication with the LATAM Leadership Team about operational results and financial condition.
• Lead the preparation of business plans, forecast updates, and long‑term planning.
• Promote a culture that leverages emerging technologies, visualization tools, and finance systems to generate insights and optimize value.
• Identify opportunities to improve enterprise reporting and planning solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance teams, including direct and indirect reports.
• Strong financial acumen with responsibility for income, expenses, capital usage, and cash flow.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and board members.
• Experience shaping finance strategy and implementing process improvements.
