Finance Manager

About the role

You will lead the end‑to‑end finance function for a technology‑focused logistics company. The role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on management of reporting, cash flow, and claims, while continuously improving automated systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, management reports and the data used by leadership for decision‑making.
• Lead accounts receivable, customer setup, invoice changes and accounts payable, carrier accounts, freight‑bill auditing.
• Maintain the books, bookkeeping and month‑end close processes.
• Oversee cargo and insurance claims on behalf of customers.
• Partner with engineering to enhance finance‑related systems and processes.

Required profile

• Accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent) or strong comparable experience.
• Proven experience managing a finance or accounting function.
• Experience with Xero and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of freight or logistics industry is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English, strong problem‑solving and high emotional intelligence.
