Finance Manager

About the role

SuperSummary is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Finance Manager to become the financial backbone of our fast‑growing SaaS education platform. Reporting to the CEO and partnering with the VP of Operations, you will lead financial planning, analysis, and accounting functions for a fully remote, global team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the annual budget and rolling revenue forecasts, translating business strategy into financial models.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis, surface insights, and drive action.
• Track and report SaaS‑specific metrics such as MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, CAC, payback period, and net dollar retention.
• Prepare leadership financial reporting and dashboards that tell a clear story.
• Own the end‑to‑end accounting function: monthly close, ASC 606 revenue recognition, ChargeBee and Stripe billing operations, and management of the bookkeeper.
• Evaluate, automate, and modernize financial tools and workflows, including AI‑assisted reconciliation and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience building or running the finance function in a SaaS or subscription business.
• Deep understanding of consumer subscription economics, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and chargebacks.
• Comfortable presenting variance analysis to C‑level executives and closing the books.
• Desire to be a strategic partner at the leadership table, not just a spreadsheet operator.
