Finance Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

Visa is seeking a Finance Planning & Analysis Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and control activities across the organization. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions and drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and interpret financial concepts for planning and control.
• Perform technical analysis to assess current and future financial performance.
• Gather, analyze, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisitions, and operating forecasts.
• Conduct economic research on rates of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment opportunities.
• Support compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial insights with business objectives.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations.
• Provide business analysis and support for ongoing management of key initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree, or a PhD with no experience.
• Preferred: 6+ years with a Bachelor’s, 4+ years with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD.
• B.S. degree in business or accounting required.
• Extensive experience in audit, finance, accounting, or statistical reporting.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.
