Financial BI Analyst (Finance & Accounting)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Financial BI Analyst to own the reporting and visualization function within the Finance & Accounting team of a private enterprise and family office. The role involves turning financial data into reliable dashboards and reporting products that give leadership clear visibility into cash, payments, spending, and entity‑level performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reporting solutions from requirements gathering through ongoing support.
• Build dashboards covering cash position, account balances, payments, spending, and consolidated/entity‑level reporting.
• Create and sustain a simple, reliable data layer using Excel and direct system connections.
• Extract NetSuite data via SuiteAnalytics Connect and transform finance workbooks into structured reporting sources.
• Implement reconciliation and validation controls to ensure data accuracy.
• Manage Power BI refreshes, data quality, and row‑level security, and document reporting logic and processes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role focused on reporting and dashboards.
• Strong background working with financial data and accounting concepts.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, RLS, publishing, refresh management).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience converting workbooks into reliable reporting sources.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
• Fluent English (B2+), able to collaborate directly with U.S. stakeholders.
