Forward Deployed Software Engineer

About the role

Influur is building an AI‑powered platform that lets anyone launch influencer marketing campaigns with a single prompt. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer you will work closely with business and operations teams to turn their needs into fast, reliable technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Fix bugs, ship small features, and automate recurring requests end‑to‑end.
• Develop and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and data pipelines (Nucleus, Data Ops).
• Write and optimise SQL queries, clean data, and produce ad‑hoc reports.
• Build AI‑enabled workflows using OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini APIs, including prompt engineering and function calling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate operational pain points into scoped technical tasks.
• Debug API integrations, perform QA, and validate releases.

Required profile

• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
• Strong debugging instincts and ownership of small but critical tasks.
• Passionate about AI, automation, and internal tooling.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level).

Required skills

• TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, shell scripting.
• Python (desired).
• Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind.
• Backend: Node.js, REST APIs, basic authentication.
• Database: PostgreSQL or Supabase, SQL.
• Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS (a plus).
• Version control: Git/GitHub.
• AI tools: daily use of OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings.
• Testing: ability to reproduce bugs; Playwright (plus).
• Stripe integration experience (plus).
