FP&A Operations Lead Americas

About the role

Opella is looking for an experienced FP&A Operations Lead to support its manufacturing sites in the Americas – Chattanooga (USA), Ocoyoacac (Mexico) and Suzano (Brazil). You will drive strategic planning, budgeting and financial reporting while ensuring data quality and compliance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Oversee financial reporting for actual, forecast and budget scenarios.
• Perform first‑level analysis of monthly results, focusing on significant variances and consistency checks.
• Prepare, consolidate and report financial data with an emphasis on statement accuracy.
• Support data consolidation in TM1, SAP S4/Hana and Solar/Magnitude, including cross‑system mappings.
• Ensure timely reporting to meet global deadlines.
• Improve finance processes using available tools and systems.
• Assist FP&A Operations on process‑simplification projects.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting principles and Opella corporate guidelines.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of accounting and controlling experience in manufacturing or supply, preferably in CPG, consumer healthcare or pharma.
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration abilities, with experience presenting to senior management.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and adaptable in a multicultural, deadline‑driven environment.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, supply chain and manufacturing teams.
• B.S. in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Fluent English; Portuguese a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Experience with TM1 and SAP (including S4/Hana).
• Familiarity with Solar/Magnitude data‑consolidation tools.
