Freelance LaTeX Specialist – Spanish (Latin America) AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a LaTeX specialist who is fluent in Spanish (Latin America) to help train large‑scale language models. As a remote freelance contractor you will work on improving AI understanding of scientific document preparation, from complex equations to presentation slides.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with the AI model on realistic LaTeX scenarios and answer theoretical questions.
• Verify formatting accuracy, logical consistency and capture reproducible error traces.
• Document failure modes and suggest enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Test advanced topics such as multi‑language support, Beamer presentations, TikZ graphics, package troubleshooting and collaborative editing workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
• Professional experience in academic publishing, technical writing or scientific communication.
• Clear, metacognitive communication style (“showing your work”).
• Fluency in Spanish (Latin America) is mandatory.
