Front-end / Developer Experience (DX) Engineer

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Front‑end / Developer Experience (DX) Engineer to design and deliver a modern documentation platform. You will create a scalable, user‑friendly ecosystem that integrates APIs, search, and brand‑consistent theming, helping developers access product information efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy a static documentation site and CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Docusaurus, Mintlify, or custom Next.js solutions.
• Build an interactive API reference renderer with "try‑it" capabilities based on OpenAPI or GraphQL specifications.
• Create standardized release‑notes and deprecation templates for consistent product communication.
• Implement branding, theming, and tokenized design‑system integration aligned with enterprise standards.
• Deliver advanced search functionality (e.g., Algolia) with audience‑based customization.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in React, Next.js and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building developer portals or documentation platforms.
• Familiarity with API documentation standards such as OpenAPI, GraphQL and Swagger.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and static‑site deployment processes.
• Experience integrating search platforms, preferably Algolia.
