Generalist Process Operator I

About the role

The Generalist Process Operator I works on the production floor, handling a variety of tasks that keep the plant running smoothly. You will operate mechanical equipment, perform basic maintenance, and support the production of quality products while following safety and regulatory guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and technology tools in the assigned area, including loading/unloading bulk materials, packaging, mixing, and monitoring computerized control systems.
• Make basic machine adjustments and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with the team to resolve problems.
• Record production and inventory data in computerized systems.
• Operate mobile powered equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, sit‑down floor sweepers, and front‑end loaders.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to all safety policies.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with primary education completed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg (or 12.5 kg with reasonable adjustment), bend, push, pull, climb stairs, kneel, and work in noisy, dusty, or chemical environments.
• Ability to read and write Spanish fluently.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or varying shifts with prior notice.
• Capability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions, including temperatures up to 28 °C.
