Global Process Owner - Order to Cash

About the role

O-I, a global manufacturer of glass packaging for food and beverage brands, is hiring a Global Process Owner for its Order to Cash (O2C) function. The role sets strategy, governs and continuously improves the end-to-end process through standardization, simplification and automation, and sits within the Global Business Services leadership teams. It reports to the VP, Global Business Services, with four direct reports and a team of 70 managed services members.

Key responsibilities

• Define the long-term vision for the O2C process and maintain a global transformation roadmap covering digital enablement, standardization and innovation.
• Own global O2C policies and controls, establish KPIs and use reporting and analytics to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
• Manage third-party managed service providers for customer service, credit, cash and collections, overseeing SLAs, KPIs and governance.
• Work with Treasury to improve cash flow and DSO, and drive CRM, ERP, workflow automation and telephony integration.
• Lead process design, mentor subject matter experts and manage change management for new processes and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in business or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a GBS or multi-functional shared services environment (e.g., Master Data Management, Opportunity to Cash, Commercial Support, Record to Report).
• Proven experience partnering with commercial, finance, treasury, IT, procurement, audit and external managed service providers on global processes.
• Leadership and change management skills, with the ability to lead global process development while ensuring local compliance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP, C4C CRM, credit management solutions and customer service telephony platforms.
• Understanding of SOX and internal controls.
• Experience with RPA, AI, machine learning and business analytics tools is highly desired.
• Excellent financial acumen, including understanding of P&L and working capital.
