Head of Supply Chain – Colombia

About the role

The Supply Chain Head in Colombia will ensure the efficiency and continuity of local supply chain processes, aligning with Novartis global, regional and divisional standards. This senior position oversees product supply, warehousing, distribution, new product launches, international trade, and third‑party service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive process changes and lead operational improvement projects within the country.
• Liaise with Finance, DRA, QA and other functions to optimise cross‑functional processes.
• Support and participate in all product launch activities in Colombia or the regional cluster.
• Ensure accurate scenario planning, demand forecasting and launch set‑up with supply sites.
• Identify improvement areas, implement continuous performance improvement plans and monitor sustainable execution.
• Represent supply chain in local S&BP meetings with CPO and supply sites.
• Select, train, develop and coach SCM associates to build a high‑potential talent pipeline.
• Manage budget and expenses for assigned supply chain units, evaluating cost‑effectiveness.

Required profile

• University degree with 6‑8 years of leadership experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse or customer service within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Advanced people‑management skills and ability to engage with local and global stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
