Hospitality Accountant – Remote (EST Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Hospitality Accountant to support daily financial operations and reporting for our global hotel portfolio. The role is fully remote and aligns with EST working hours, allowing you to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Create custom and ad‑hoc reports, including budget‑to‑actual analyses.
• Manage supplier and vendor outreach to guarantee on‑time payments.
• Book and reconcile expenses, income, bank and credit‑card statements.
• Support accounts receivable/payable discrepancy tracking and resolution.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and maintaining the general ledger.
• Support payroll processing and related compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure adherence to company policies and IFRS/GAAP standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in an AR/AP or junior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, suitable for C‑level interactions.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work remotely within EST business hours.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Hotel Investor Apps or similar ERP tools.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (intermediate‑advanced level).
• Familiarity with IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
