About the role
The Human Resources Director will lead the full employee lifecycle across the United States and LATAM, shaping talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational design. Based primarily in Cali, Colombia, the role combines strategic advisory with hands‑on execution of recruiting, onboarding, performance, learning and engagement programs.
Key responsibilities
- Own the design, deployment and governance of talent programs, aligning them with business goals, M&A activity and private‑equity portfolio objectives across LATAM and the Americas.
- Develop and execute end‑to‑end recruiting strategies for US and LATAM roles, including job architecture, sourcing plans and offer benchmarking.
- Serve as the primary talent advisor during acquisitions, integrations, restructurings and reductions in force, advising on retention, role gaps and risk mitigation.
- Partner with the Organizational Development Director and VP of HR to ensure talent decisions consider legal, change‑readiness and organizational impact.
- Provide data‑driven recommendations on org design, succession risk and talent gaps using tools such as the 9‑box and competency frameworks.
- Lead implementation of recruiting automation and AI‑assisted tools, maintaining dashboards to improve speed, quality and candidate experience.
- Design and roll out a scalable, automated onboarding experience that works across geographies and supports rapid acquisitions.
- Audit, align and standardize core HR processes across countries, building consistent frameworks for onboarding, performance reviews and recruiting.
- Oversee logistics and delivery of L&D programs, including LMS administration, vendor coordination and participation tracking.
Required profile
- Proven track record owning talent programs end‑to‑end (recruiting, onboarding, performance, L&D, engagement).
- Experience managing cross‑cultural, geographically dispersed teams with exposure to US and LATAM talent markets.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable talent recommendations.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to partner with senior leadership and board‑level stakeholders.
