Incident Response Analyst – Threat Hunting & Forensics

About the role

TrendAI™ is looking for an Incident Response Analyst to support its customers with rapid detection, containment, and remediation of security incidents across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. The role combines hands‑on incident handling, forensic analysis, and proactive threat hunting to strengthen the overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents for TrendAI customers, leading containment, eradication, and forensic activities.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and produce clear, actionable reports for technical teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting missions to uncover adversary behavior that may bypass existing detections.
• Collaborate with detection engineering and security operations teams to improve visibility and detection capabilities.
• Provide timely updates to customers and internal teams, and support on‑call and after‑hours incident response as needed.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of experience in incident response, forensic analysis, or security operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Availability for occasional on‑call support and willingness to travel for customer engagements.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with threat‑intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
• Competence in incident response, forensic analysis, malware analysis, network monitoring, and threat hunting.
